After being talked into using timbers to make the space look timber framed, I almost gave up on it as the cost was very high.  We ended up finding timbers and they arrived at the barn in January of 2005.  So off we went spending most of our weekends and evenings working in the barn and setting timbers.  The first level, Sherrin, the kids and I were able to set into place.

When we got to the second floor it was quite clear that I was going to need help and several people came out to help me set the second floor beams.  There were several times I found I needed help and people were always willing to come help.  I know we could not have done this without them.
